Purpose Publications UK – Volunteer Orientation Successfully Held

Today marked an impactful orientation session for the freshmen volunteers of Purpose Publications UK. The event aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as volunteers while building their personal and professional development.
The Founder of Purpose Publications UK, Mr. Obed Opoku Twum, led an insightful session, highlighting the mission and vision of Purpose Publications while emphasizing the numerous opportunities available to volunteers. He shared his personal journey, inspiring participants to embrace leadership, growth, and excellence in all aspects of life.
The session provided an in-depth understanding of Purpose Publications UK, the various volunteer roles, and how participants can actively contribute while gaining valuable hands-on experience. It also focused on personal and career development, guiding volunteers on how to leverage this opportunity to build skills beyond the classroom. The Purpose 1K Challenge was introduced, encouraging all eligible participants to take part and benefit immensely from the life-changing opportunities it offers.

As part of this initiative, volunteers will receive training in IT, web development, architectural design, entrepreneurship, leadership, and more. They will also enjoy a wide range of exclusive benefits, including a Certificate of Participation, access to career-boosting training and workshops, hands-on experience in marketing and sales, study abroad support and guidance, corporate tours and exchange program opportunities, advanced CV and career development training, IT and digital skills training, passport application assistance and international travel guidance, exclusive internship and job shadowing opportunities, business pitch training and grant application support, leadership and executive roles, corporate tours, high-profile networking events, and full access to external training programs. Each volunteer will also receive a free copy of Purpose: What I Wish I Knew Before Entering Tertiary.
The event was highly engaging, with participants actively contributing to discussions and asking thoughtful questions on how best they can maximize this opportunity for their growth. Prizes were awarded to outstanding participants, adding an element of motivation and excitement to the session.
A heartfelt appreciation goes to the dedicated organizing team—Ms. Michelle Dora Osae Poku, Mr. Kafui Darlington, Ms. Marylyn Boatemaa Aboagye, and Mr. Dela—who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this program.
Special thanks to Mr. Twum for his passion, dedication, and commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and we look forward to making a meaningful impact together as we build a strong Purpose Publications community.
