Purpose Publications Empowers Ghana’s Future Innovators as Partner and Exhibitor at STEMnovation 2024
Accra, Ghana — Purpose Publications was honored to participate as a partner and exhibitor at STEMnovation 2024, the dynamic national STEM competition held at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, UPSA, from October 14-16. This year’s event, themed “Addressing Future Challenges Now,” was organized by the Ghanaian Ministry of Education in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) and drew participation from over 250 schools nationwide, with 56 finalists presenting projects aimed at sustainable solutions in energy, environment, food security, and digital technology.
The founder of Purpose Publications, Twum Opoku Obed, is deeply committed to helping young people achieve academic and career success through a clear sense of purpose. His belief in the importance of mentorship and career guidance inspired Purpose Publications’ involvement, as he sees STEMnovation as an invaluable opportunity for students to explore their potential and envision their future.
To make this vision more accessible to all, Purpose Publications donated copies of “Purpose: What I Wish I Knew Before Entering Tertiary” and offered a 60% discount on book purchases to students attending the program. The book, authored by Obed, aims to equip young minds with the tools they need to understand their purpose and make informed choices about their educational and career paths. This special offer was designed to empower Ghana’s youth to connect academic learning with personal and professional aspirations.
As Ghana’s next generation tackles real-world challenges, Purpose Publications remains committed to supporting platforms like STEMnovation, which bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical innovation. Obed and his team are thrilled to be part of such a powerful initiative and look forward to continuing to champion educational programs that enable young people to thrive and create meaningful impact.
